In 2012 in Amsterdam, problem families were going to be sent out to the outskirts in order to fix the problems surrounding anti social behaviour in community living. These living areas would be in the form of caravans and shipping containers. The project itself would cost £810,000 and residents would be under surveillance for 6 months. The project aims to encourage good behaviour and improve communities. In Amsterdam shipping containers are already used for student housing.
